ESWW - The big plus is that their catalytic converter cores are made from an extruded reactive batter that does not use exotic metals like platinum. Also, Platinum-based CATs will not work with diesel engines while ESWW's will.

Hence, they are cheaper as replacements, and will be cheaper as OEM equipment also. Detroit is in the case.
