well, they seem like high prices ($99 / residential) but that
may be just a brochure. My point is that I'm an ATHM customer
and there is a CMTO modem sitting on top of my monitor, being
rented from TCI/ATHM - total monthly cost for me is $39.95.
(rental + internet access). CMTO modems seem useful to TCI at
these reasonable monthly fees, so either TCI uses a cheaper,
single QoS modem, or the modem's cost/benefit ratio is good
enough for TCI.
