John Kerry has more personal physical courage than anyone in the WH but Powell. And he has proven it the hard way. Thanks, but when right-wingers attack top military heros just because they can beat Bush it is the height of hypocrisy. And if Kerry wages a war it will be a SMART war because he will know exactly what he is doing. Nobody on the Hill knows military issues as well as Kerry, that from the mouth of John McCain, the #2 expert. Also, Kerry unlike Dukakis would not only look good in a tank, he knows how to drive one. And I chafe at the right-wing lies that GW Bush was a fighter pilot. My God, the guy went AWOL for more than a year from training. Never reported for duty. That's actually cvalled desertion, but thanks to Daddy he got away with it. Never put in the brig. And he's still getting away with it. Harken, Enron, all sorts of corrupt deals and BS. Seems like no one ever busts this guy. And they accused Clinton of Whitewater? A money-losing $40,000 land deal? That is a tiny fraction of what GW Bush pulled off in his business career. Only difference was he made money and everyone else lost. Instead of the other way around. Why? Dady's influence. John Kerry never had a powerful Daddy. He did it on his own.
