Softechie, Where was the MCI article from? <doubts about the sustainability of the juicy annual dividend of $2.40. Management stated in the earnings release that the company aims to pay the dividend for the "foreseeable" future but wasn't more specific. > It may well be cut in the future, but currently the dividend payout is not a problem. "MCI group reported cash earnings (earnings before goodwill amortization) of $112 million or 97 cents per share in the second quarter" And that would be a payout percentage better than many utilities.
