The other problem I see is the concentration is Atlanta.
I think the business is a great one, but I think ESA may be the only extended stay chain that can stay independent of one of the big firms. Eventually the big guys will get into this market and who knows what will happen to SLAM. Also, there could be a saturation of their biggest market, Atlanta, very soon because many extended stay places are going up around here.
I also think the shareholder suit may hurt the company. The suit is without merit but the legal fees could take up cash that could be used to expand.
In other words, I just think ESA is a better investment (even though I would wait for a dip to buy it).
