NPE Announces New Business Model
Formation of FullMetrics as a Subsidiary and Acquisition of Amyyon's
Americas Business
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 18, 1999--Nicollet Process Engineering, Inc.
(NASDAQ: NPET - news) announced today that it was transforming itself from an industrial
technology company to a diversified technology holding company. The Company is working with
TechInspirations, a strategic investment group, to develop its business model and identify
appropriate market niches.
In order to realize its transformation into a holding company, NPE is forming FullMetrics, a
wholly-owned subsidiary that will take over NPE's existing product line and intellectual property.
FullMetrics will be the first company to be held by NPE and is responsible for growing its decision
support software business based on the FullMetrics Solution.
Several changes are being made to the management of the Company in order to support the new
direction. Mr. Evros Psiloyenis, formerly of NPE, will become the President of FullMetrics. The
new President of NPE will be Mr. Tom Chuckel. Chuckel brings to the Company more than 25
years of high tech sales and management experience including work for Xerox, GRiD Systems,
Gartner Group, Interleaf, and Baan. In addition to the above changes, Mr. Steve Norris is joining
FullMetrics as Vice President of Sales. Norris has more than 20 years of experience in sales and
marketing, including holding positions with Computer Associates, Oracle, and Baan. Lastly, Mr.
Ben Case has resigned from the NPE Board of Directors in order to pursue personal interests.
NPE has also announced that it has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to acquire the
Americas business of Amyyon NV from TechInspirations. Amyyon is a leading customer
relationship management (CRM) software vendor based in Holland. NPE plans to establish
Amyyon Americas as its second wholly- owned subsidiary and will be selling the Amyyon product
line to corporate customers in North and Latin America.
