Shege, You're shocked. Well that makes two of us.. First of all...I only agreed to this if we could double date w/Michelle and Steve Farber. She had originally agreed but common sense must have prevailed and she backed out. Maybe she and Farber spoke privately and decided it wasn't a good idea. That changes everything however.

Then I find out that David Doerr thinks this is an AOL chat room and our date is the topic. David...you might be hearing from the webmistress.

Then someone refers to me as "material". In addition to which my friends on the thread are calling me materialistic. That's actually the most shocking since I didn't know I HAD any friends on the thread. Ok...maybe one.

Out of stuffing you and Farber in the trunk you've determined that I want to live out some wild fantasy. We weren't going to tie you guys up. Just stuff you in the trunk and leave you there with no water while we drove through the desert in the heat of the day. Interesting what you inferred from that, don't you think?

Now we have Clam and TD wanting to come on the date to referee. Right!! The three of you and me on a date. My my and what do you think we'd talk about???

And our date is now a one night fling and someone thinks I have secret fantasies regarding you and wants me to share them with the thread. Sorry to disappoint you here. You're not in them. Plus the operative word here is "secret" which means something one keeps to oneself.

You're shocked.. Tell me about it. But now to get to the heart of the matter....

Unfortunatley, I'm not yet sold on this idea. This is a perfect forum for you to test out your sales skills (the one's I've been teaching you lately on the thread) in a non threatening environment among friends. I think we've skipped a few very basic steps in the sales process. Before we discuss pilot programs and test installations don't you think we should go back to the beginning of the sales process. Evaluating a potential date can be likened to evaluating software. Since you agreed to go in your first message on this thread (with earplugs about which I'm sure you were kidding) I must assume I'm the prospect and you're the sales rep. I agree this is definitely a perfect use of a SFA system. But wait...didn't you say earlier today that you don't need a SFA system to manage a sales process. So I'm sure this won't be a problem. Anyway, I'll be anxiously awaiting your response.:-)

P.S. If you ask me I think they all want to go on our date. Except for Michelle and Farber. Though we haven't heard from Farber so maybe he wants to join us too. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.
