Just looking at the cost-only comparison, $30/.10 per min = 300 min. I use that in a couple of days, easy (but realize that there are many different usage habits out there). If you don't like the $.10 per min, substitute your own cost per min and usage, but I'll bet MCOM will still come out the winner by a long shot (cost only).

Also, re the statement:

The services work with digital telephones and a cable and don't require a special modem like existing wireless services, including Ricochet.

You still have to buy the new phone ($150) and the cable ($25), so $175 amortized over 12 mos = $14.58 vs. Ricochet's SX @ $300/12 = $25. Difference is $10.42 or 104 additional minutes (given .10/min). Big deal.
