The status quo in immigration feeds the mexican political elite and special interest politicos in the US> We have no bandwidth in our political leadership. The Information is clear, Mexicans and other South Americans want to live as US citizens, we should accept this and make it clear to the south of the border governments who do not think that Other alternatives are available, such as moving our border south as in representing mexican voters who articulate a preference for US Constitutional rights, these people can be accommodated, but in a manner that cuts the class warfare crowd to pieces, its long been joked within mexican elitist circles that they will take over the US by sending the cockroaches( people starving for liberty jobs etc). The roles should be reversed and our politicians should begin to see that real alternatives exist. Begin speaking about extending our constitutional guarantees to a wider audience, instead of building fences, lets redraw the border south.

We are a big country and we can absorb these people, they make good productive citizens, and potentially should be invited north, to participate in demonstrations on mexican soil, asking for the rights to vote on becoming US states.
