Cheeky Sorry about your pooch. But busting the dickens outta that laser disk player musta felt really really good at the time. Way to go! I am saving up a satellite dish box which was zapped in a electrical storm for just such a day. It is going to feel really good. I spent over a month trying to figure out what was wrong with my TV... I readjusted the dish... ran new cable... took TV in to have it serviced... long story short the converter box had a little short in it most likely caused by lightning jolt which made it through the surge protector. I can't hardly wait to nuke that box! ht Mag
