Milo, AMD finally getting their .13u process off the ground is the best news I've heard from them all year. Even though it is just mobile right now, and even though it falls short of expectations for frequency, it's a start. I'm also ecstatic that they dumped the Athlon 4 brand, and stuck with Athlon XP. It may not be any better, but at least it's consistent with the desktop, and that's important in terms of building a brand name. I'll be tuning into the conference call tomorrow for more information. wbmw P.S. Here's a link to their original roadmap for Mobile Athlon. It shows that a 1900+ was originally expected this quarter. Now only a 1700+ is planned, which is not too impressive, given that Palomino reached 1600+ last month. I'll be interested in seeing if they have plans to improve this over the life of the process, since this even falls short of my lowered expectations. home.attbi.com
