Pham, back in April Westell released this announcement. I wasn't sure then what to make of it. At supercomm it became clear that one of the big things now in DSL is that it can be made to carry 16 voice lines via IP. Westell was already into this in this release:

CopperCom is devoted to developing technologies for voice over DSL. In the list of partners you find Txn, Intc, Ala, Flowpoint, Copper Mountain etc. but no Westell. Westell I presume is therefore using its own resources to develop this technology. If anyone has a better understanding of the, (like maybe DR.TECH) please feel free to jump right in. I'm just guessing.
