If Apple were to come out with a reasonably priced TV solution that I could replace my current provider with I would switch in a heartbeat.
I might give it a try, too. "Reasonably priced" is the operative phrase.

Have you given a Roku box, Chromecast, or similar products a spin? For now, I have $30-$60 devices plugged into the HDMI port of each slim LED TV in my house and I use that to essentially turn them into huge tablets. From there, I can access all the mainstream content, plus stream local files from my NAS server via WiFi, surf the web, and even stream live TV from a friend's home using Vulkano. Worth trying... too cheap not to.
