Rich, You can use all your current IBM peripherals on any Mac but the iMac, so buy one of the other G3s and you'll be able to use your scanner with a different driver, and the Jaz drive and Tape backup with other software, too, I'd think. Mac always supported SCSI till iMac and the other G3s do. Sorry about your OEX, but at least you got a nice price on your AAPL sell, while I'm still holding and the price is still a bit lower. Of course, I'm hoping for 43 today. :-) Linda
