Doncha hate it when that happens? ..it has initiated new shipments of its VisualWorks 3.0 software, following higher-than-anticipated demand for the product. Introductory shipments of the software began in late February and quickly depleted existing inventory levels Well.... yes. Shipments do tend to have the effect of reducing inventory levels. What is the driver here? Did they forecast low to save production costs? Surely, they would have built at least three months' demand in advance. If so, quadruple the expected demand level (i.e. twelve weeks stock sold in three weeks) would require a headline a little more exciting than "ObjectShare Reports Strong Demand". Maybe I'm being naive. After all, it did give them a press release they otherwise would not have had, if they had forecast correctly... david
