but I'm not so sure -- efficiency may be a better investment which would naturally be brought on by higher prices -- for those that can -- that's what we are getting. Solar photovoltaics a clean technology?? I guess it is as clean as any other semiconductor technology -- but I think one has to consider total life cycle costs ... How long does a solar panel last ... What do you do with it when it is spent ... How much energy input to manufacture ... I am not saying it doesn't make sense in some instances, but that I abhor central planning -- yes -- of both types -- including the type that took us into all the blood-letting in the ME ...
