Nordex Inks 191 MW Wind Deal With Spanish Utility Posted by Betsy Lillian January 5, 2018 Nordex says it is benefiting increasingly from the renaissance of the Spanish wind power market: Utility Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables (GNFR) ordered 58 AW132/3300 turbines from the manufacturer in December. The 191 MW contract covers the installation of six wind farms, as well as multiyear services for the turbines. GNFR, a new customer for Nordex, gained the awards for the projects under a tendering process last year. Construction of the first turbines will commence this summer. All projects are located in regions of Spain in which the Nordex Group has manufacturing facilities.
