The rebellion seems pumped up by religious faith. Am not big on religion but good with faith. Should BTC survive the testing and overcome ‘them’, then yes, the upside limit become a lot less limiting. Should ‘they’ shut down the exchanges, the unintended consequences can be many, and some might matter a great deal.
