RoadWarrior, ZIP has a lot of potential to replace the floppy because it gives a well-balanced mix of ease of use, established base, performance (speed), storage capacity, price, and reliability.

Clicking next on a Joel Sternberg post is not so easy given that he has a PhD from Berkeley, 6 years of teaching experience, access to a Bloomberg terminal, and an uncanny ability to irk so many different people. ;-)
