Last September I bought GAC at $27. I set a one year target price of $60 and still am planning on that number or more. Gulfstream makes by far the best business jets in my opinion and as long as companies keep getting richer they can afford to buy them. This stock will continue to rise until we are in a recession; and that doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon. I think that because as CEOs and executives are getting more and more pampered, they get expensive business jets as reward for their companies success, but during a recession companies would be less willing to spend so much on a jet and look for more economical transportation.
As for Gulfstream's stability; as it continues to perform as a high growth stock, its price will fluctuate as high growth stocks do, but in the long run this stock will continue up at least 30% per year as a conservative estimate and will continue to get positive earnings surprises.
