Clinton Nixes 2004 White House Bid

No, she's not running -- but Dick Morris properly pointed out that she & Bill are quietly hoping Bush wins in '04. Otherwise, she would be unable to run until '12 -- by which time the Clinton political juggernaut** will have died or atrophied.


Even if a Dem. wins in 2004, it just means she has to wait longer and the only possible thing that might worry her is age. As senator, she's up for reelection in 2006.....and that's good for 6 years.

They obviously can't support Republican candidates in the open, but Hillary has obviously repositioned herself politically again (she does this every few years, depending on the political need of the day).



You make it sound like she's doing a bad thing. As an American woman, she has no choice but to strategize every second of her career. Unlike most of the rest of the world, we have yet to elect a woman leader.......of course, she has to be wary.
