Definitely not !!!!
However, if I am now on the Hot List, I might as well mention the www.radarview.com financial website that provides a 1 week free trial subscription to a very informative technology newsletter.
New Years Resolution #1 - Not to be too bashful about plugging the newsletter and website, but not to get too obnoxious about it.
New Years Resolution #2 - beg this community to go to the website and click on the banner at the top of the page so my banner can be randomly placed on another website in cyberspace.
New Years Resolution #3 - try to get things rolling here on SI again.
To that end, I am becoming very bullish on the Flash memory sector for the immediate term. Companies like SNDK, SSTI, and ATML are looking good, but there are others out there.
As soon as the dust clears from this week's rate declines, there are a few really undervalues semiconductor stocks worth looking at.
And as my "penance" for being away so long and for what may be my erratic participation here, a flash from the past, DY (Dycom) is now reversing into a very attractive buy zone. Currently trading at close to its 52 week low, DY and MTZ were hit with and analyst downgrades from Freidman Billings.
Of the many stocks we discussed here, DY has proved itself to be a wonderful investment vehicle over the past few years. we saw steady growth, a split or two, and less volatility than in many other stocks. At sub $30, this is looking to be a very nice conservative long term investment for when the telecom, utility, etc. sectors regain favor with investors and the next leg of the infrastructure roll out ramps back up.
Actually, looking at the technicals and fundamentals of the company, it is still a good sound company to keep monitoring and become comfortable with.
Of course (and I can't resist), there are more pearls of wisdom or comments each and every day in the "critically acclaimed" Radarview newsletter (I pay my kids to say that).
I hope Da Cat in Da Hat has had an opportunity to get out of the hat for a little stroll to some football stadiums instead of the store for catnip balls. Then again, Da Cat might be very interested in chasing a few birds, namely Ravens, around his neck of the woods.
