(OT) Seeking information... I'm reading Michael Chabon's rather splendid "Summerland" to the kids (who haven't yet quite grown out of bedtime reading). As my ignorance of baseball is pretty formidable, I was completely stumped (cricket metaphor) by the phrase - "turned a swinging bunt into a gift triple on a bobble at short"... The illusion of paternal omniscience is in danger. Help!
