Paul - I have no MPV (sold it all), and beaucoup CFV. My reasoning was (and is) that CFV trades at a discount to Mountain, although Mountain is more liquid. The arbitrage value has eroded with time, but still exists. As to WHEN CFV reaches its 'proper value' - that should happen soon after the CFV AGM (end of FEB?). I see the present management being ousted at that time and new management coming in to merge CFV's AK-CJ interests with MPV. A shell with some oil interests and some value (.20/share?) would be left. By all means pick MPV - that is what most people have done. I'm just a guy who can't resist a bargain. The merger didn't happen heretofore because CFV management was against it.
