Brian, Market makers do NOT accumulate stock from small investors at higher prices to fill large block buyers at lower prices. Market makers are in business to make money. Who do you think takes that loss. Market makers accumulate stock at lower prices to fill orders at higher prices and if they can't buy the stock the orders go unfilled. Bill Crosby
