Thanks -- that's another keeper for the scrapbook. Mergers are almost looked upon as guarantees of further price appreciation for the stocks of these companies for that very reason. I posted a comment over on the MB thread about McDonnel Douglas' merger (acquisition by?) Boeing and Stonecipher's (McD CEO) whining about how much money he lost. If I can find it on the wires I'll post. I found it rather funny ...
