NETSCAPE 6 VERSUS ATI RAGE CARDS
by Paul Dmytrewycz

Netscape 6 has reported problems with ATI video cards that use the Rage chip set. According to Netscape, images will appear correctly at first, but will be redrawn incorrectly if the window is minimized, maximized, or moved. There are no known fixes for this bug. ATI Rage card owners should note that this is a Netscape problem, not a Rage problem. It may be beneficial for users to avoid upgrading to Netscape 6 until this bug (among others) is fixed.

ATI Rage cards include the following: All-In-Wonder 128 Pro, Rage Fury Maxx, Rage Fury Pro, Xpert 2000 Pro, Rage 128 Technology, Xpert 2000, All-In-Wonder 128, Rage Magnum, Xpert 128, Xpert 99, All-In-Wonder Pro, Xpert Lcd, Xpert@play 98, and Xpert 98.
