<<< Speaking of idiotic, the administration's plan to insert
Turkish troops into Iraq has got to be the worst idea since
the war that landed us there in the first place. This is one of
these "what were they thinking?" proposals that seems
almost too ridiculous to be true. If you want to scare
yourself in preparation for Halloween (hey, it's just around
the corner), then check out this MSNBC report:

The whole thing is ludicrous. Last nite, Bush did not have the cajones to admit the fact that we are in a horrific mess due to his shortcomings and misguided beliefs. Instead, he tells us the same old same old and then proceeds to warn that Iraq could take forever and makes another plea for international help. And guess what Bush's reaction will be when they say "no", and they will say "no" given the niggardly way its been presented........you guessed it.........vive les freedom fries!

Its astounding that one man could create as big a mess as he has. Of course, he had ample help from his cronies in Congress. Hopefully, in the end, it will ring in the death knell of the GOP as it is right now. It badly needs to join the rest of us in the 21st century!
