And no I do not consider Microsoft (or its investors) in any way the same as drug dealers. In fact the analogy is ludicrous.

Yes, it probably is since Microsoft makes twice as much as drug dealers do on the dollar (55-33%). Then you have that expense of bribes and drive by shootings. Drugs are expensive because of all the middle men taking their cut.
