I'm another lurker .... The folks on this thread are forgetting about Medtronic, which does a whole lot of business in this area, including surgical balloons - they just don't make the hernia kits. A GSI acquisition is a natural for them, and a perfect fit in their product portfolio. Given GSI's patent ownership, and Guidant's pending exit from the market, Medtronic may be doing a little lurking itself. Where are people seeing this 3x award scenario? Is it in the 10Q? Isn't it normally announced with the award, or is this just wishful thinking? When I called GSI, they made no mention of this possibility. In any event, this is one of those situations that feels very good - in a year this company will be hopping, growing every quarter, and looking like a momentum play.
