HI Stephen: I'v bought "both" puts and Calls, but now I just have
puts left..and friday bought a few more jan98 25s..
as for the old post, I was just treading back and that one tickeled
my funny bone..as I could see me maybe owning it a year from now..
but not close to these prices..wonder how thoes poor souls who
bought her at 71 feel today..
she stayed 10 for a long time..then got to 20..then made a fast
climb to 71..droped like a rock back to the mid 20s..retraced..
back to the low 40s..meet resistance..and has a rounded top, and
indicates she will dump back to the 20s buy april..long term
her plan is all wrong..she will wind up back were she started
at about 10 , then get bought out, or took over.
I do know a little about ISP..cost..and profit..came close to
setting up one..and looked at it hard..the margins are not very
much..and getting smaller..it's been like a gold rush..every one
and his brother has crowed into the stream..lots of gold hmmmm..
but not much per company...why do people think AOL is BIG..check
it out..they are no were near as big as even psix..it's been
a lot of promotion..but take a count on the POPs of the 14
main internet providers..AOL is just about on the bottom of
the list..with it's stock selling for 3x as much as the
companies who are bigger..it may fool a number of people for some
time to come..but the basics will come home..water will find
it's own level..it rushed in over the banks, fell to the
level of the inlet, and now the tide is going out for AOL,
not as fast as it did, but it's got a long way to go, and
will continue to drop.
