I have just spent an exhaustive hour looking through the Yahoo posts of this past week... I read an Investor Relations response regarding the treatment of the $105M (less fees) B/Stearns deal... the writer was asking if the monies could be counted as 'income' with regard to the BofA agreement. The response was that it could be counted. The post looked legitimate, & I therefore tried to find it for you. The question was absolutely on target... It might benefit you to address IR yourself with the same question and, hopefully, you will get the same answer. With eyes crossed, I had to stop my search.
