Interestingly enough, my LEAPS holdings, which constitute a major chunk of my portfolio, are the least of my worries. I hold them in csco, sebl, and qcom, each a Gorilla with excellent earnings and outstanding growth. The beauty of LEAPS, as Roth states, is that time in on your side. In the case of the 2002 series, if the underlying equity recovers within a 6 month period you'll see very little degradation of the time premium. And I think that csco, sebl, and qcom will be among the very first to shrug off the correction, as new money will flow into quality during the recovery.
