L. Hoobs: I think you missed my point.

Its not the fact that Corel has invested our money into sports sponsorships. Its what team or what sport it has invested it in. Usually Racing associates with car products or beer. These are the buyers, these are the fans.
I know that some people perceive Hockey as being watched by the "Joe six pack guys". These are not the people buying up the Corporate box seats at the Corel Centre.

JMHO that Tennis, watched by not the "Joe six packers" is a sport that is not up and coming. It had its' shine in the early eighties. Most of my freinds and neighbours, are in the buying decision category, have switched to golf from tennis (our muscles are getting older). We also attend the NHL hockey games at the Corel Centre in those Corporate box seats, that are purchased by the companies that are managed by those same people who now play golf.

This might not suit all of Corporate America.

Maybe I should invest in a golf store or an equity golf course!
