They certainly won't be causing any storms unless the service providers stop charging high prices per megabyte. Here is Telecom New Zealand still charging $8 a megabyte to move a bit of data over their swanky new EV-DO system. telecom.co.nz

It would be cheaper to drive to a Zenbu zone and use Wi-Fi. Quicker data transfer too.
