The third wave - In spite of vaccines Covid 19 is following a similar pattern in the US to the 1918 Pandemic. I really thought/hoped that vaccines plus increasing numbers of those with natural immunity from previous infection would prevent the third wave (or make it just a blip). The "good" news is the 3rd wave won't last forever (2 more months maybe and peaking in 2-4 weeks if the pattern holds). Also, given the contagiousness of Delta a fourth wave of deaths seems unlikely as almost everyone will have some resistance via vaccine or natural immune response after this wave completes.
