I detest a media that thinks they have to shelter us.

Just my humble opinion, but I don't feel the media tries very hard to shelter us. They often glorify things that i would prefer to be sheltered from.

The media has morphed from reporting of events to molding opinion. In the case of the church shooting, the truth doesn't fit their narrative regarding gun control. Even when the do report, they will spin it. Consider supporters of Islam who go jihad- they are always looking for a reason but NEVER report the truth about their motives and social media posts.

Remember these are not journalists - what they do is much closer to being a publicist / marketer for the commie way of life.
