The context of the article was with the discussion of the iMac, which is Apple's big consumer push. If the company "would not continue to support the consumer market," this would be true for all consumer markets--hence the comment about the iMac. It's another thing entirely to suggest that Adobe will cease creating such software as Photoshop and Premiere and After Effects for the Macintosh platform. These are applications geared not to the consumer market, but to the "professionals" the article indicates Adobe will focus upon. Given that Apple has a huge share of desktop publishing, graphics, and video editing markets, I think it is safe to say that Adobe was not intending to say they would discontinue support for such markets. Andrew I should know; I'm a digital video editor who knows a -LOT- of people who would be hopping mad if AE/Photoshop/Premiere were discontinued.
