<<Churchill a devoted racist who believed in the superiority of the British Nation>>

Churchill very nearly screwed up WW1. First as a sea lord, several unecessary blunders, then Galipolli. He was banished to the back benches for many years because of those blunders, even with all his powerful contacts and background.

What Was Winston Churchill’s Role in World War One? | History Hit

Churchill had many detractors in the UK. For example, in the middle of WW2 he was heckled for saying "we can take it" in front of crowds of civilians who had been bombed in the heaviest hit areas like the East End of London and Coventry.

To his credit though, he made a determined early warning of the threat of the growing militarized threat in Germany. During the really dark years he flew out to meet Stalin, across Germany, in a Lancaster bomber, which was a dicey thing to do at the time.

It's really hard to think what is was like, even in the UK, what chances were there for Germany to be defeated ? It must have looked impossible.

Why the Churchill fellowship is doing all those thing is plainly ridiculous, but it's not that important, and Boris is the most ungenuine person imaginable. He is just trying to get support, nothing else. If it would suit his popularity better to criticize Winston Churchill, he would do it in an instant. He has no qualms about anything.

This was at the end of WW2.
