Heard he will be leaving at 7 a.m. That means the helicopters will have to come up from wherever to pick him up from wherever he's staying (it's some place in Beverly Hills) - has to have a helio-pad - and deposit him at LAX before the 7 a.m. takeoff. Guess I won't be sleeping in tomorrow. No other president used helicopters to get around L.A. Guess they heard how bad the traffic is here.

I'm surprised that with all the HD-equipped news helicopters in this city that not one of them recorded the comings and goings from LAX. The only shot was of some stairs being wheeled up to the side of the helicopter.

I would have thought that watching a convoy of 10 military helicopters flying at a very low level across the L.A. Basin would make for some interesting TV - even landing on top of the Beverly Hills Hilton. Instead, they had scenes of the Prop 8 protesters, the Armenian protesters, and the Bring Our Soldiers Home protesters. All of them o-voters.

I have all of my cameras ready to catch them flying overhead tomorrow.
