NetObjects Leaps to 60 in Top 100 PC Software Companies

Ranked by Softletter 100 in Top 10 for Revenue Growth

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- NetObjects, Inc. (Nasdaq: NETO - news) today announced that it was selected in the 1999 Softletter 100 and ranked in the top ten for one year revenue growth. The Softletter 100, published annually, is a ranking of the personal computer software industry's 100 top independent companies. NetObjects is included in this year's Softletter 100 among leading software companies such as Novell, Intuit and Microsoft and is ranked at number sixty in the top 100 software companies ranked by revenue. NetObjects is also listed in the top ten as fastest growing PC software company from calendar 1997 to calendar 1998.

''The annual Softletter 100 rankings reflect a somewhat old-fashioned notion -- that revenues are an important measure of company performance,'' says Softletter publisher Jeffrey Tarter. ''NetObjects is one of the very few Web software and services companies that is generating really significant revenues.''

''In just three years, NetObjects has gone from being a startup to the 60th largest PC software company as rated by the Softletter 100,'' said Samir Arora, CEO and founder of NetObjects. ''We're happy to be recognized by Softletter for our success.''
