I love Spooks (renamed MI5 in some places). Kinda line 24 on steroids, men and women agents, action all the time. (10 seasons)
Currently free on Tubi, Pluto, and Amazon Prime (old Freevee).
I could barely digest the first season, after that it's great. An episode that stands out for me, a terrorist grabs a female MI5 agent and has a gun to her head. Another female agent has a gun pointed at the terrorist. The terrorist says drop it of I'll kill her. The hostage nods her head and the agent shoots through the hostage agent killing the terrorist and the hostage agent.
Technology geeks would like it too methinks.
Current events like you say, has MI5, MI6, CIA, FBI, Russians, etc all involved. Some bad guys turning good, a few good guys turning bad, keeps you on your toes.
