Chanos opinions are practical. Most folks we know would never have bought a Ponzi scheme apartment. Have seen Several videos of folks staring at their single unit apartment wondering which of them is mine? When supply of 30 to 60 million built or half built properties (conservative) all nearly empty, would simply ask; How does this cash flow? Who is going to live in it? The certainty of an ever rising price against the backdrop of ever increasing supply should be red flags enough to stop the metamorphosis from human to lemming. Chinese accounting disclosures never reveal the demographic inputs about WHO When and Why. The deficiencies rest in the missing information from MISES, SAY, Ricardo Von Hayek etc.... Systems that are not themselves smart, and depend on obedience too dogmatic rhetoric....are the problems here. All systems are only as good as their own sensory organs, and Chinas sensory organs are broke.
