Bob, the reason I never mentioned that Calstart Note is that my recollection is BLD has their own excellent membrane and have been able to bring their costs on it way down below Dupont's. So they don't buy from them but you are right it is good for fuel cells generally which is good for BLD. Just shows what mass production will do for costs. I just found another site that hasn't been updated recently but holds lots of info for fuel cell "newbies" and certainly many links to other sites. It would be great if it was kept up-to-date though. members.aol.com
