Yes...there is something to be said for living with a degree of decency; but thinking your religion is what makes you favoured and special on this earth is a belief which separates humanity into those deserving to go to Hell and those deserving to go to heaven. And what makes the difference? Not love of children, giving to charity, or social values of honesty, respect, and so forth? All decent people have these qualities which preserve humanity from the brutes. But if one prays to a different God or prays not at all, then such a one is "not saved"...and is very likely evil. Sigh...
