Thanks for the link. I was intrigued by the Applix Anyware office suite, and I went to their site to check them out. If you've got the time, you may want to run their demo - very worthwhile. A little rough still - I think they can do more on the client side. I noticed every keystroke caused a server hit, with the accompanying roundtrip network delay. But their word processor and spreadsheet looked good enough for government work, given my 28.8K connection. If they do move more to the client, they may have to incur a longer initial download time, but this should be palatable - I think they'll have a winner.
