David Wilkin Joins Big Picture As VP Development
CALGARY, Feb. 28 /CNW/ - Big Picture Technologies is pleased to announce
that Mr. David Wilkin has joined the Company as Vice President, Development.
In this capacity, Mr. Wilkin will have direct responsibility for all product
development and related functions.
Mr. Wilkin has more than 24 years experience in the IT industry, the
majority of which was spent in senior executive roles for organizations
ranging from entrepreneurial startups to global multinationals. Most recently,
he was Vice President of Solutions Consulting at BCE Emergis, a leading
e-commerce solutions provider. He was Senior Director of e-commerce and
application development at LGS Inc., one of Canada's premier consulting and
systems integration companies, and Vice President, Professional Services for
iSTAR Internet Inc., one of the country's largest Internet Service Providers
(ISP's), prior to its acquisition by PSI Net in early 1998. His most recent
roles at IBM, where his career spanned nearly two decades, included Senior
Manager, World Wide Channel Marketing in Dallas, Texas; Senior Manager, Market
Development and Sales, and Manager, Strategic Software Marketing.
