Steve, You raise some good points about AOL- the ISP's are not for everyone BUT the serious online users will migrate away from AOL.

16 months ago getting onto the net was a royal pain through Compuserve, I was a newbie and had not even heard of an ISP at that point (although they were around). Now it's a relatively easy process, though not foolproof.

By next year, I'm sure the MacOS & Win95 will be much easier to configure to the net using an ISP, and in turn the setup software supplied by the companies will be as easy to use as AOL's. Additionally their home pages will be fine-tuned to direct members to their points of interest, making it customizable.

At this point AOL will become just another ISP stuck with a software OS handicap. A commodity. AOL will surivive, but the high P/E won't last, and the stock will DROP.
