Thanks Stuart! Yeah, you're right, I hit the jackpot. It's a dream job, I'm getting paid for doing something I have great interest in, a refreshing change.
Ha, ha. I don't know if I should start a thread about me, sounds egotistical. Anyway, I posted my story to the SI:History of Silicon Investor thread and thought that was good enough. If you start such a thread, I'll hang out there. But there wouldn't be much to say, and it would die out.
BUT, for a better idea, maybe we should start a thread called "Famous people who started at SI". Hey, I think that's a great idea. I don't know how much you know about SI history, but that would be cool. For example, a thread here has some famous (a word that I wouldn't use to describe me) people like "pluvia" who broke a story that resulted in the SEC-suspension of 6 OTC BB stocks. And three other posters who have made a virtual home here have been featured in the media after being sued by Business Wire (I'm sympathetic to them, BW over-reacted, long story). And several more folks.
I'm off on a tangent. So thanks for the idea. I'll try to get around to starting such a thread in a week putting a spotlight on some people who have used SI as their launching pad. I'll keep ya updated. Thanks for your help, Stuart (and everyone else here at SI)! - Netconductor.com

Wow, I'm really happy for you. Congratulations.
The happiest people on this planet are those who earn a living doing what they like. I think you just scored the jackpot.
No more coding invoices for you!
Can you start a thread on SI so we can track your new career?
Good luck! Stuart |
