I didn't say I disagreed with you re: the ineffectiveness of the federal government. A few hundred posts ago I advocated reducing the power and budget of the feds while bolstering state and municipal governments--and I'd even advocate the growth of quasi-regional governmental structures--how about a Cascadia governing body extending from Portland to Vancouver or an entity straddling Northern Mexico and the Southwest? My view, as well as yours, still constitute particular ideologies and not fact. regards
